We are animal rights advocates aiming to establish Animal Crush Video Prohibition Act in Japan.
Japan does not have a law restricting the production of animal crush videos; these videos exist everywhere in our daily lives and have become an underlying cause of animal abuse.
From 2016 to 2017, a shocking incident of animal abuse arose, where a man continuously filmed and distributed animal crush videos on the internet. He brutally killed thirteen cats through violent behaviours, such as pouring boiling water and exposing them to a gas burner.
The appalling animal abuse videos shocked people in various ways; it was not uncommon for the audience to develop PTSD after viewing the video.
Currently, a class-action lawsuit claiming compensatory damages is initiated against the man who produced and distributed the extreme animal abuse videos.
However, the discussion over animal crush videos has yet to be pushed forward in Japan, and the social interest in the issue remains minimal.
Although animal crush videos have accelerated criminal activities—including copycat crimes—the distribution of such disturbing content remains unpoliced.
We are actively looking for supporters to successfully implement the Animal Crush Video Prohibition Act in Japan.

クラッシュビデオ禁止法を成立させるための活動をしています！！
日本ではクラッシュビデオを規制するための法律がなく、日常的にクラッシュビデオが存在し動物虐待の温床ともなっています。
２０１６年～１７年にかけて１3匹の猫に熱湯をかけガスバーナーであぶるなどして虐殺し、その様子をインターネット上に拡散した事件がありました。
凄惨な虐待動画は様々な形で人々の目に留まり、そのなかにはPTSD障害を抱えた者も少なくありません。
現在、虐待動画を制作し流布した加害者に対しては損害賠償を求めるための集団訴訟による裁判が進められています。
しかし、日本では未だにクラッシュビデオに対しての議論が進まず、理解が得られていません。
模倣犯を含め、犯罪を助長するクラッシュビデオは野放しの状態です。
私たちはクラッシュビデオ禁止法を実現するための協力者を広く求めています。
